I am an Engineer

I am a graduate student at the Colorado School of Mines (CSM) pursuing an M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering, with an emphasis in geotechnical work. During my education at CSM, I have had the opportunity to experience a wide range of fieldwork, site investigations, and design projects. From exploring the history and stories preserved in core samples to getting outside and getting dirty investigating sites for future construction projects, I have developed both physical and analytical skills for evaluating geology and geotechnical hazards in the field.

In addition to my geological engineering background, many of my graduate classes have focused on advanced soil mechanics, soil behavior, and soil dynamics. Along with soils, surface water and ground water modeling have also been a large area of focus that have prepared me for work involving risk assessment, analysis, and design for foundations, dams, and geological hazards.
