I am a Team Player

Along with my education, my involvement in several campus clubs demonstrates passion and commitment to building better environments by being part of a team. As the past President of the student chapter of the Association of Environmental and Engineering Geologists (AEG), I helped to inspire participation while organizing meetings and events with club members. I represented AEG at school events and functions and acted as a liaison between our student chapter and the professional Rocky Mountain Section of AEG.

As an active member of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), I volunteer at many events to give back to the surrounding community, including participating in Habitat for Humanity and judging in elementary science fairs.

I am also actively working with the CSM Engineers Without Borders on a water project for the Los Gomez community in Nicaragua. From planning stages to group brainstorming, from team interactions to project development, being a team player served as key a element in bringing this project to life for the community of Los Gomez.
